8 out 10 enquiries that I get, would sound like this – I need a wedding planner to decorate my wedding reception. At times, I get phone calls enquiring my packages. But when I explain that I am a wedding planner not a decorator, the person on the other side of the phone response were shocked that I am not THE decorator and that I do not offer wedding packages that includes pelamin or decoration… But the ideas or details of decorating the event/wedding may come from me, according to the likes & dislikes of the bride & groom and their wedding theme.

A person/company that provides the decoration for the event – i.e. Florist for floral arrangements or bridal flowers, Main Dais or Pelamin decorators (for our country such as Arjuna Cipta, Nas Great Ideas etc).
The term wedding planner is used in every conceivable way – the florist or company who provides the hantaran decoration, the pelamin even the caterer is a wedding planner!

I agree with you kak ratna. We are not used to the correct term of a wedding planner. Dah sah kata planner not decorator. simple english pun. Whatever it is, I cant thank you enough for making my wedding the most beautiful one.
